Posted by admin

There are several applications in the Android Market, which allow a screenshot. Applications such as Drocap2, Screen Capture v1.2, 1.0 and Screenshots, allows you to use keyboard shortcuts, voice commands, or by shaking the phone to activate the screen capture. Once closed, the menu option allows the user to share this photo via e-mail or save to the SD card. At present, in all market applications, allowing the user to capture a screen requiring root privileges. Since most users do not want to root for their Android devices, a better solution might be to use the Android Software Development. This does not require you to connect your phone to your PC via USB and not only to eat from the same phone. There are three main steps to achieve this goal.

STEP 1: Download the Android software development

Go to the site developer http://developer.android.com use the browser and select the card in the SDK. Download the SDK that corresponds to the computer's operating system. When the SDK zip file is saved, unzip all the files and run "Setup.exe SDK".

* If an error message "Unable to retrieve the URL" appears, close the error window, select Settings and select the "https strength ... to look for sources with http://." Close the window .*

Click on "packages available" from the menu on the left menu, and select sites, packages and archives listed on the right that goes for the phone is connected. Select the "Install" button. The next window, select "Accept All", and select "Install".

STEP 2: Installing the USB driver Android

Make sure that USB debugging is checked in Options / Programs / development folder on the phone. End Android phone on your computer. Let the phone to allow USB storage. Once it is connected, the installation software driver default open. This should find the right driver.

* If the correct driver is not installed, quit the installation window and manually update the driver for your phone from the device manager. The updated driver will be placed in the folder of the USB driver located in the unzipped Android SDK. Be sure to select "include all subfolders." Verify that the driver shows no problems in Device Manager .*

STEP 3: Running Android simulator

Open the Tools folder located in the Android SDK and run the GDDS.

This will open the simulator to the connected phone. It may take a minute to load menus.

Choose your device menu and select "screenshot". It will capture the current screen on the Android phone. Refreshing the screen shows all the changes on the Android phone. Use the "Save" button to save your screen. Once registered, it's easy to email the file where it should go.
